After all of the effort requried to make my writers cabin the mountains dream come true, once there something became clear very quickly. I wasn't ready. There was a big piece of my conceptual puzzle missing, something I hadn't seriously considered nor really understood...reincarnation. And meeting Sara made that clear.

There are people like Ian Stevenson and Jim Tucker who have contributed much to a modern and methodical understanding of the mechanics of it, such as birth marks and childhood memories and such. And, there is the work of Walter Semkiw, who has compiled a very compelling body of work demonstrating how talents and abilities transfer from life to life. All of that was new to me, and it took some time to understand, to the extent that I do, how the process works.
