The second book in the series starts where the first book left off, in Thailand.

Sara went back to the US, and Seann found himself exploring the many temples and historic structures around Chiang Mai. Seann noticed a sense of familiarity about some of the older temples, dating back to the 1300-1400's.

During consultations with Kevin Ryerson, exploring a lifetime 600 years ago in the early Ming Dynasty of China, it was revealed that they traveled to what is now Northern Thailand during that time.  The sense of familiarity with some of the culture and history, was because they have lived there before...
